Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has given his first press conference in Singapore as Manchester United get set to play Inter Milan on Saturday before facing Tottenham next week.

United’s performance in pre-season has been excellent so far with 2-0 and 4-0 wins over Perth Glory and Leeds United.

Ahead of Saturday’s game, one of Solskjaer’s takes was on the future of wantaway striker, Romelu Lukaku.

Solskjaer said when asked about Lukaku:

“I don’t have any updates from last time I spoke to you.”

The Norwegian outrightly ruled out the striker out of the fixtures against Inter Milan and Spurs citing that Lukaku is not fit enough.

Defender, Matteo Darmian and Midfielder, Fred have both joined the squad as Ole said:

”Both have been training back home. I am sure he (Fred) is keen to join in.”

Luke Shaw and David De Gea are yet to feature this tour as Solskjaer added: ”Think both will be available. Luke trained well yesterday, David we will try to get 60 or longer out of him.”
