Reports surfaced on Wednesday claiming Manchester United have reached an agreement with Crystal Palace for right-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka.
Reports claimed United and Crystal Palace had agreed terms on a £55million deal.
However, according to Daily Mail, Manchester United are yet to reach an agreement with Crystal Palace for the right-back with both clubs still locked in talks as they try to find common ground on the fee.
Manchester United had earlier this month submitted a bid of £35m plus £15m in bonus payments for Wan-Bissaka but Crystal Palace rejected United’s offer.
It is believed Palace want United to up the club’s original offer to £45m plus £5m in add-ons to land the talented right back.
Wan-Bissaka has reportedly told Crystal Palace he is keen to seize the opportunity to move to Old Trafford and the club are reluctant to stand in his way but want what they consider market value for their academy product.
Wan-Bissaka is currently away on international duty with England’s Under-21s. He scored an own goal as England lost 2-1 to France on Tuesday evening.
