MANCHESTER UNITED STARS JET OFF TO DUBAI AFTER FA CUP VICTORY OVER READING

Manchester United beat Reading 2-0 in the third round of the FA Cup on Saturday and jetted off to Dubai just hours after the game.

The team is travelling to Dubai for a four-day warm weather training camp which is designed to build fitness and enhance tactical familiarity.

The squad arrived at the Manchester Airport in good spirits after goals from Juan Mata and Romelu Lukaku helped secure a 2-0 FA Cup over Reading earlier.

Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer explained the reasoning behind the training camp at Dubai.

“I’ve had plenty of time to speak with them but we haven’t had plenty of time to train,” Solskjaer said.

“It’ll be a time to get some fitness work and work hard with them, so if any of the players think it’s a holiday they’re wrong.

“We’re there to stick together, to work hard on the physical part of it and of course think ahead to the Tottenham game.”
