Manchester United star Marcus Rashford came off the bench to score a 92nd winner as Manchester United beat Bournemouth 2-1 at the Vitality Stadium on Saturday.
Before scoring his late winner, Rashford had two chances to score, his first was a glorious opportunity inside the penalty area which was blocked on the line.
The 21-year-old striker also lost in a one-on-one race with Bournemouth defender Nathan Ake which would have put him through on goal.
Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho revealed after the game that he was furious with Rashford for failing to score before his 92nd winner.
“I was very upset with him before that,” Mourinho said.
“I was upset with the chance he missed. He has to smash it and take everything in the goal.
“I was also upset because I think he has to win that run with Nathan Ake.
“But, of course, then he scores the winning goal and that’s amazing for him and us.”
Manchester United legend Paul Scholes also revealed after the game that Rashford should have scored before his 92nd winner against Bournemouth.
“Marcus has missed a chance which he should have scored,” Scholes told BT Sport.
“He finishes well but should have scored before that.”
