Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba was brilliant for France in the World Cup in Russia, and the 25-year-old was a key player for Les Blues as they went on to win the World Cup during the summer.

However, after a good World Cup tournament, Pogba is struggling upon his return to the club and has had an inconsistent campaign so far. The 25-year-old has also had issues with the manager and has been stripped off his position as the vice-captain.

However, former Manchester United midfielder Paul Ince believes Pogba is suffering from a World Cup hangover.

He told Express Sport: “I know Pogba was great for France but he’s not been as impressive for United. That could be because of the World Cup.

“I’ve played in these tournaments and they’re far from easy. They’re draining and can be exhausting.

“That could be why Salah is struggling and possibly Pogba too.”

However, Pogba has revealed that he’s keen for more and wants to win the Premier League and the Champions League.

The World Cup winner was asked about his motivations after lifting the World Cup with France in the summer, Pogba told Le Figaro: “I’m not satisfied, I’m still very hungry. The Premier League, the Champions League, the Euros, and to be one of the best players in the world.”
