Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho was in the stands during Serbia’s 2-0 UEFA Nation’s League victory over neighbours Montenegro.

Various reports claim Mourinho attended the game to watch Lazio midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic.

Even though Milinkovic-Savic came on for the last ten minutes at the match, Mourinho must have been impressed as the Lazio star set up Aleksandar Mitrovic’s second goal of the game with a gorgeous backheeled assist.

Mourinho sat next to Montenegro and Real Madrid legend Predrag Mijatovic and pulled a baseball cap low over his forehead as he tried to maintain a low profile.

Milinkovic-Savic wasn’t the only player Mourinho watched, with the special one also looking at Fiorentina defender Nikola Milenkovic.

The 20-year-old defender has been in impressive form in the Seria A this season.

Mourinho reportedly wants to sign a centre-back in January as he tries to strengthen United’s defence and he could make a move for the 20-year-old in January.

Manchester United midfielder Nemanja Matic failed to feature in Serbian’s over Montenegro after withdrawing due to injury.

He is now a doubt for Manchester United’s visit to Stamford Bridge later this month.
