Former Manchester United boss David Moyes was sacked just nine months after succeeding Sir Alex Ferguson due to poor results.
Moyes doesn’t expect the same treatment to be handed to Jose Mourinho despite Manchester United’s poor form this season.
Manchester United had gone four games without a win before the 3-2 comeback victory over Newcastle United on Saturday and Moyes believes the pressure on Mourinho has eased following the 3-2 comeback victory over Newcastle United on Saturday. Moyes also believes
“The big thing is that Jose has got himself a fantastic result at the weekend,” said Moyes, according to The Mirror.
“It doesn’t matter how you win, but he did it in good style, beating Newcastle.
“I think that could settle things down a little bit. It takes time for all managers at Manchester United .
“Jose has been given time and I’m sure he will be given more time. He’s a winner and I’m sure he will go on to prove that.”
