Brazilian star Neymar wants Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba to join him at French club Paris Saint-Germain, according to a report on Goal via Daily Mail.
The report on Goal claims Neymar called Pogba in September to ask him if he was happy with life in Manchester and whether he would be interested in leaving Manchester United for Paris Saint-Germain.
Neymar tried to convince Pogba to join him at Barcelona before the France international left Juventus for Manchester United in 2016 and he is now trying to convince Pogba to leave Manchester United for Paris Saint-Germain.
Neymar and Pogba have been reportedly close for several years now and the Brazilian hopes to use his friendship with Pogba to act as the deal-maker between PSG and Pogba.
Neymar hopes to convince PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi that a move for Pogba will help improve the club as they seek to win the Champions League but Al-Khelaifi reportedly believes a move for Pogba would be too complex and expensive.
Pogba reportedly wants to leave Manchester United after falling out with Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho but he reportedly prefers a move to Barcelona over Paris Saint-Germain.
