Ahead of Manchester United’s Champions League clash with Valencia on Tuesday, Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho has confirmed four Manchester United players would be unavailable for the clash.

Mourinho confirmed Jesse Lingard, Marcos Rojo, Ander Herrera and Ashley Young are unavailable to face Valencia.

Manchester United started our Champions League campaign with a 3-0 win away at Young Boys and Mourinho will be hoping that form continues when we face Valencia later today

“Apart from Marcos Rojo, now we have Ander Herrera, Ashley Young and Jesse Lingard out,” Mourinho told MUTV.

“I prefer the doctor to speak, but they are not in [the right] conditions.”

Mourinho also revealed he expects a difficult match against Valencia.

“The Champions League week is always a good week,” Mourinho added.

“Even if you expect a difficult match, a difficult opponent.

“It’s a big week. Everyone wants to play [in the] Champions League, not everyone can do it. So we are here and we have the chance to play a big match. So, big match, big week.”
