Manchester United have been unable to get a victory in the last three games, and Saturday’s 3-1 defeat in the hands of West Ham at the London Stadium was the latest in the series of setbacks for United this season.
Manchester United are now 10th on the table and find themselves nine points behind league leaders Manchester City. Jose Mourinho is now being put under pressure, but the Portuguese has revealed he’s looking forward to Tuesday’s Champions League clash against Valencia.
Mourinho has now revealed that he’s looking forward to the Champions League clash and he is hoping his players can have the desire to bounce back from the loss against West Ham.
“For myself, speaking of my own feelings, I am really happy that we have a game on Tuesday,” he said.
“I am really happy that I now start immediately thinking about training tomorrow and about the match on Tuesday.
“I prefer that to only playing next Saturday, with one week of these bad feelings.
“I look forward to that match on Tuesday and I hope the majority of the players have this same kind of mentality, and that they are looking forward to Tuesday. ‘I have no complaints with the players’ attitude.”
After the game against Valencia, United will host Newcastle this weekend and then Jose Mourinho will prepare his charges to face Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on October 20.
