Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba has been in the news this week for the wrong reasons.
Pogba was told this week by Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho that he would never wear the captain’s armband after he criticised Mourinho’s tactics in last weekend’s draw against Wolves.
Pogba criticised Manchester United’s tactics in the 1-1 draw against Wolves by insisting Manchester United should attack when playing at Old Trafford.
The France international also got Mourinho upset after he posted an Instagram video of himself laughing during Manchester United’s Carabao Cup loss to Derby on Tuesday.
Footage appeared on Sky Sports News of Mourinho and Pogba in an angry exchange before the start of training on Wednesday due to the Instagram post.
Pogba’s bad week took another turn for the worse after the midfielder lost his diamond earring in training.
According to The Sun via Daily Mail, Pogba alerted the staff at Carrington about the disappearance of his diamond earring which then led to a 25-person search around Carrington for the diamond earring.
The report claims Pogba is offering cash reward to anyone that finds his diamond earring.
Despite his issues with Pogba this week, Mourinho insisted he has a professional relationship with Pogba and confirmed Pogba will play against West Ham.
